For some reason this is one of the only ATMs my US debit card works in. Quick, easy and the fee is the same no matter how much you take out but the conversion rate isn't so pay attention. Either way, not bad.
Seriously if you are staying or travelling from Australia, open up a HSBC account and use only HSBC ATM and save a fortune in fees

Tried to withdraw 3mil vnd twice but the atm said the transaction was cancelled. When I checked my Shinhan account the money had come out of my account. Still have not received the funds back. Have had to request an investigation.

Always works excellent for me. I don't know about their other ATMs but this one is good. And they charge a small fee, 100,000 VND for a withdrawal of 5 million VND. I use a European MasterCard and highly appreciate the possibility to withdraw more than the usual 2 million because my European bank, Swedbank, charges 75,000 VND every time I withdraw money. All together it savses me 500,000 VND compared to the BIDV beside it.

Interesting how different are the experiences at ATM's in Vietnam. I used this atm with no problem withdrawing 5M dong and no apparent fees. MY bank in europe is the problem with fees.
