Hands down the best ATM I have used in Hanoi. If you have a HSBC global money card you get free withdrawals. I withdrew 10'000'000 vnd in a single transaction and wasnt charge at all. Obviously if you dont have the HSBC global card it will charge you, around 4% + transaction fee. But I feel much more confident using HSBC anyway, better customer service support if you need to dispute things. Really hot inside the glass cubicle though, and the bin inside was overflowing.
Works perfectly, the charge of 200,000 VND is ok getting max withdrawal of 10M VND, it’s 2% at that. Anything less than it becomes expensive. DO NOT use the cash points own conversion rate, it’s around $20/£16 over the odds on 10M VND.
